My go-to app for mind maps. It has so many customization options and more features than I could ever ask for. They also offer an educational discount 🙂

If I had to use only one app for the rest of my life, I would, no doubt, choose Notion. Write, plan, collaborate, and get organized. It can do everything! And it’s completely FREE for personal use. A must-try!

Taskade

Taskade is an amazing tool for collaborative projects. You can plan, organize tasks and projects, create workspaces & calendars. They also have many templates, so you never start from scratch!

Google Calendar

Personally, I’ve been using the built-in calendar app that comes with Macs. However, I’ve heard that Google Calendar has much more to to offer. If you’re on a Mac, FantastiCal is also great.

You can mix different sounds and create your perfect sound environment to help you focus on your work. This is a great way to mask annoying noises around are distracting. Also, you can set Pomodoro timers in the app 🙂

Forest
Free or $1.99 (for IOS)
On Forest you set a timer and plant a tree. Your tree will grow while you focus on your work. Leaving the app halfway will cause your tree to die. This encourages you not go on your phone while studying.

Quizlet is my go-to app for making flashcards. It allows you to convert flashcards into tests, and quiz yourself in different ways, which makes learning really fun (like a game). Totally recommend!

Tinycards
Free
Tinycards is another flashcards app, however, the difference is it has many decks that are made & ready for you to use. You’ll find flashcards about biology, chemistry, geography, history, language, and more!

Office Lens
Free
Office Lens is like having a scanner in your pocket. It can scan documents, whiteboards and more for you, then convert the images to editable Word and PowerPoint files. It even works with handwritten text!

Noted
Free (limited)
Noted is a fully-integrated audio recording and note-taking app. Everything you type is time-stamped to your audio recording. You can add time tags, format your notes and highlight key sections.

This app is the best way to display my schedule or timetable. You can also organize your tasks here, keep track of homework and assignments, set up reminders and more.

Pocket allows you to save articles, videos and stories from any page or app, so you can read it later when you have the time. You can download any web page for offline use, so you can access it without the internet.

Google Drive
Free (15 GB)
This is where I store 90% of all my files, because I can access them from anywhere (phone, tablet, my 2 computers). The files are always “backed up” and I can easily share them with others when collaborating.
